<em>\u201cKhan Artists\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Presentation date: Sunday, <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through\">May 13<\/span><\/strong><strong>, changed to May 19, 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Begin participation in your team\u2019s chosen modality and instance <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>COMMENT:\u00a0 I was a late-arrival to the team, and they all welcomed me nicely.\u00a0 I had no problem adopting the modality that was already chosen.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>(*)\u00a0 These concepts were clarified with the instructor one month later, a week prior to our team\u2019s presentation date.<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"107\"><strong>April 14<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"517\"><strong>Team members exchanged information and opinions via Google Docs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>COMMENT:\u00a0 Through the MALAT programme, Google Docs has proven to be of high value to collaborate simultaneously as well as asynchronously.<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"107\"><strong>April 15<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"517\"><strong>Team description of modality chosen submitted.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>COMMENT:\u00a0 The modality of Khan Academy was clearly understood by all the team members.\u00a0 The instance was not clear as such although we agreed to take a couple of courses to familiarize ourselves with Khan Academy.\u00a0 We did not think the agreement as the instance until the instructor told us that was it.<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"107\"><strong>April 15<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"517\"><strong>Initial summary of modality &amp; approach to critical inquiry submitted.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>COMMENT:\u00a0 The team collaborated to put together the summary, and it was posted in Klaus Rimke\u2019s blog.\u00a0 Khan Artists received useful feedback from the instructor which was incorporated in subsequent pieces of <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>COMMENT:\u00a0 The outline mentioned the opportunity that having construction sites in several campuses of a school district represented for applying the students\u2019 learning.\u00a0 Some clarification was done via e-mail with the instructor, and he approved the idea of localisation as a good proposal to develop. <\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"107\"><strong>May 11<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"517\"><strong>Attended DEE GEEs Presentation @ 7:30 PM \/ PST <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>COMMENT:\u00a0 One, if not the most, important contribution the DEE GEEs did to the class was being the first team to present.\u00a0 Their experience shed some light on the \u201cmystery\u201d of what the instructor was expecting from the class. <\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"107\"><strong>May 12<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"517\"><strong>Provided feedback to the DEE GEEs team<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"107\"><strong>May 14<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"517\"><strong>Attended MOOCtastic Presentation @ 7:00 PM \/ PST<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>COMMENT:\u00a0 The MOOCs immersion we had with the MOOCtastic team was extraordinary.\u00a0 They did an excellent job researching and reporting the outstanding features of the MOOCs.<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"107\"><strong>May 15<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"517\"><strong>Provided feedback to the MOOCtastic team<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"107\"><strong>May 15<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"517\"><strong>Attended TEDdy BEARS Presentation @ 7:30 PM \/ PST <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>COMMENT:\u00a0 The TEDdy BEARS presentation revealed interesting aspects regarding not only the cost, or absence of it, of some educational resources but also the \u201ccertify-ability\u201d of them.<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"107\"><strong>May 16<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"517\"><strong>Provided feedback to the TEDdy BEARS team<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"107\"><strong>May 18<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"517\"><strong>Attended AWESOME SAUCE Presentation @ 7:00 PM \/ PST <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>COMMENT:\u00a0 This team\u2019s session included a nice dose of sense of humour which made the presentation extremely enjoyable, without diminishing the interesting information they presented.\u00a0 The Awesome Sauce team made a clever use of their name playing with words and ideas to convey their content.<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"107\"><strong>May 19<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"517\"><strong>Provided feedback to the AWESOME SAUCE team<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"107\"><strong>May 19<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"517\"><strong>KHAN ARTISTS Presentation @ 7:00 PM \/ PST <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>COMMENT:\u00a0 Being the last team to present represented also a challenge since the audience was already \u201ctrained\u201d on what to expect.\u00a0 There was enough difference in our modality and content in relation to the other presentations that the audience welcomed the novelties with interesting questions and positive feedback.<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"107\"><strong>May 21<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"517\"><strong>Received
