Considerations<\/strong><\/p>\n My overall goal in cultivating my digital presence and identity is to broaden my network for more potential learning and professional opportunities. With professional interests that intersect various fields and communities, reaching my audiences efficiently can be difficult. I have resisted using multiple accounts on multiple platforms in the past, largely out of fear that more accounts would equal more time. I am now seeing these various tools as smaller pieces of a larger picture that simply need organization.<\/p>\n I plan to use three streams of social media to better reach my respective audiences. The categories for these streams are as follows: Personal (friends, family, political and various personal interests), Visual Art (VR, Illustration, Concept Art), and Education and Technology.<\/p>\n Many of the communities I wish to engage with use Twitter primarily. Twitter is also very helpful in that one can tailor to an audience with hashtags while managing only one account. My goal is to use Twitter to connect with my audiences and bring them to the other primary platforms in my digital presence plan.<\/p>\n In the above visual, I have separated the content into my three categories on the left. Orange nodes are online platforms where I hope to develop more engagement, whereas blue nodes are channels to disseminate content.
