I thought that I would try something a little different and post a podcast for assignment #1 of unit 5.\u00a0 You can click on the link below to listen.<\/p>\n
Click here to listen to the first episode of the Teachable podcast.<\/a><\/p>\n To see my original digital plan click here<\/a><\/p>\n Here is a list of some of the podcasts that I am listening to (Click on the name for a link to their online presence):<\/p>\n The Instructional Redesign Podcast: <\/strong><\/a>Cara North and Joe Suarez are two instructional designers who have a passion for education.\u00a0 They have great interviews with people in the arena of instructional design and also have great episodes where it is just they talk about areas that interest them.<\/p>\n The Edutech guys: <\/strong><\/a>David Henderson and Jeff Madlock are like those two crazy uncles that make everything more interesting and funny.\u00a0 There are a ton of episodes to listen to and I haven’t found a dud yet.<\/p>\n Intersection Education:\u00a0 <\/a><\/strong>Corey Haley is a teacher from Alberta.\u00a0 I find this an interesting podcast as it gives a Canadian perspective.\u00a0 It is fairly new and Corey is a great interviewer.<\/p>\n The Edtech podcast: <\/a><\/strong>This was the first podcast I started listening to in the realm of education.\u00a0 It is one of the larger podcasts out there in the educational space.\u00a0 Sophie Bailey is the mind behind the edtech\u00a0brand.\u00a0 Not only does she host this podcast but she runs the edtech\u00a0podcast festival in London every year.<\/p>\n Gettin’ air: <\/a><\/strong>This podcast is from Ecampus Ontario.\u00a0 If you are into Open education at all this is a must listen.<\/p>\n All of these Podcasts are worth giving a listen to.\u00a0 Whether you’re looking for discussions on pedagogy, educational techniques, or educational technology there is something for everyone.<\/p>\n All the above podcasts are also available in iTunes podcasts\u00a0or stitcher\u00a0for you android fans.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I thought that I would try something a little different and post a podcast for assignment #1 of unit 5.\u00a0 You can click on the link below to listen.
