One of the interesting aspects of this process is appropriate data collection instruments, that can have a determining role in the quality of the research data gathered. It was interesting to learn that even though there are established recommendations in the literature with regards to different research methods, ultimately, a researcher can decide when the sampling is not enough or whether the data will be sufficient for the research study.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the issue of bias is an important concept to address in any research study and prof. Veletsianos (2019) has stated that we all bring our own potential biases in the data analysis in the form of beliefs or underlying assumptions.\u00a0 One of the methods to address personal biases is working with a team of researchers. However, in my opinion, the team has to be open to recognizing the biases in each of its members and adopt critical views towards the process.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, within the field of learning and technology, it is important to keep in mind the specificity of the different platforms or learning technologies, since some of the platforms and its features can further contribute to the bias and limitations of the research. These strategies are helpful to consider when designing our own research questions and moving through the MALAT program.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>References:<\/p>\n<p>Veletsianos, G.
