3-2-1 based on my LRNT 528 course experience<\/b><\/p>\n
THREE: <\/b>The words used to describe facilitation in digital environments have not changed, but the explanation has. Facilitating as a team of four is:<\/span><\/p>\n 1. complicated<\/span><\/p>\n When working in a team of four, planning, creating, editing, and executing take additional time and energy. Still, there is comfort in delivering the final product when the experience is shared.<\/span><\/p>\n 2. ever-changing<\/span><\/p>\n There are several moving parts when working with four team members. There are four schedules to work around, four sets of ideas, and four delivery styles to combine as one. It is more challenging to be flexible while delivering because deviating from the original plan may not be part of the group agreement.<\/span><\/p>\n 3. not private<\/span><\/p>\n Material is not necessarily easily shared and discussed with others.<\/span><\/p>\n TWO: Two questions I have about digital facilitation<\/b><\/p>\n 1. Will there ever be a time when facilitation will go exactly as planned?<\/p>\n 2. Will facilitation ever please the entire learning group?<\/p>\n ONE:\u00a0 A metaphor about digital facilitation<\/b><\/p>\n Digital facilitation is much like creating a music playlist to help the workout move along. Facilitators begin with one song and add to it based on learners\u2019 needs, personalities, and life circumstances. For example, the soft, relaxing mix might be counterproductive for the personal best road run, while the 170 bpm power mix might drive learners to their tipping point.<\/span><\/p>\n When working in a team of four, it is more difficult to change the playlist in response to learners\u2019 reactions because deviating from the original plan may not be part of the group agreement.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" 3-2-1 based on my LRNT 528 course experience THREE: The words used to describe facilitation in digital environments have not changed, but the explanation has.
