Another acronym."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">As you might have already noticed I like acronyms, but, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">I found another acronym, just like S.M.A.R.T., that I really like for describing good research questions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">F.I.N.E.R.:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">F. Feasible.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">I. Interesting.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">N. Novel.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">E. Ethical.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">R. Relevant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">I noticed from many of my MALAT classmates&#8217; posts that a few of these points show up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">Feasible &#8211; points to many of the same themes as the S.M.A.R.T. acronym does.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">Many other students mentioned the importance of making your research question something that interests you and others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">Novel, shows up in many places, probably because you should be researching something new and innovative &#8211; something no one else has done or interpreted the same way before.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">Ethical was also mentioned and is important as well.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">Enjoy another acronym for good research questions!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">\u00a0 \u00a0 <img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/publication\/335068238\/figure\/tbl1\/AS:789986035126274@1565358756350\/Main-features-of-FINER-criteria-Feasibility-interest-novelty-ethics-and-relevance.png\" alt=\"Main features of FINER criteria (Feasibility, interest, novelty, ethics, and relevance) to formulate a good research question.
