Teaching Presence<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The instruction for the course requires a syllabus design, within the corporate environment, to be created to align the curriculum for the employee target groups. Using a synchronous approach, the instructor must encourage and network the participants to connect. The camera on approach will mimic the face-to-face classroom interaction which is familiar to the group. Students are allowed to self-regulate online while strengthening their learning presence in the CoI (Vaughan et al., 2013).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social Presence<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expectations within the course approach will set the instructor’s personal ideas into motion for the duration of the class. The introduction of land acknowledgment and brief ice-breaker tasks allows the group to interact with each other while learning something new about said individuals. Creating an authentic presence for participants to design responses with genuine self-reflection within the task presented to the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cognitive Presence<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asking questions to the groups over the course of the class, with quick polls or opinions on a topic will encourage the employees to remain engaged in the learning process. Relying on there is no correct answer to general questions asked for opinion, it remains paramount to keep the employees encouraged to participate. This approach is referred to as a \u201ctrigger event\u201d (Garrison, 2007, p. 65), which starts the course on the right foot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
