{"id":506,"date":"2022-08-26T20:02:28","date_gmt":"2022-08-27T03:02:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/malat-webspace.royalroads.ca\/rru0202\/?p=506"},"modified":"2022-08-26T20:02:30","modified_gmt":"2022-08-27T03:02:30","slug":"3-2-1-on-digital-facilitation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/malat-webspace.royalroads.ca\/rru0202\/3-2-1-on-digital-facilitation\/","title":{"rendered":"3-2-1 on Digital Facilitation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>3 Thoughts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Digital facilitation is both an art and science in that the facilitator must have a grasp on the theoretical underpinnings of learning, instruction, and design as well as the ability to act on that knowledge to effectively facilitate learning experiences in digital environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Effective digital facilitators are aware of the importance of having a good understanding of the strengths and needs of the intended users (learners), as well as the ability to design inclusive and accessible experiences for all.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Digital facilitators understand that learning is, at its core, a human and social experience. Not only does it put word and image on paper, but it also acts as a ruler, level, stylus, and screwdriver, and is pleasing to look at. It is fabulous! This pen is an excellent metaphor for digital facilitation.
