Entering the Canadian Forces in 1999, my work experience has been in aviation maintenance, aerospace test and evaluation, aircrew standards, airworthiness certification and junior officer training/personnel management. I enjoyed completing my BSc in Math and my MSc in Human Factors.
I am currently working as a Human Factors Engineering Specialist in the Directorate of Technical Airworthiness and Engineering Support. I will be transitioning to the Airworthiness Training - Team Lead position in the summer of 2017. In that capacity, I will be overseeing the transition of many of our airworthiness courses to on-line or blended learning formats. I am hoping that this course (and my work experience and other education) will provide me with the skills and qualification required to teach on-line Human Factors courses through a Canadian University in the future.
I live in Gatineau with my husband and two young children. We enjoy cross country skiing, hiking and biking.
