Over the week my understanding of AI, AR, and VR has increased. There are so may tools and resources that are available that can be time saving and useful for instruction. Using the AI assessment generator tool to create a quiz based on a video transcript was one of the many valuable learning experiences this week.
The AI-powered quiz generator was especially helpful because it eliminated the need to manually craft questions, which can be time-consuming and often difficult to balance in terms of difficulty. I appreciated the flexibility of being able to adjust question types and difficulty levels, making it possible to tailor the quiz to suit my specific needs. Additionally, the tool gave me confidence in the quality of the assessment, as I could easily modify the questions to improve their clarity or relevance.
Exploring various VR tools during this week added another layer of engagement to my learning . It was exciting to see how immersive technologies like virtual reality could be integrated into education to enhance interactivity and experiential learning. I particularly enjoyed exploring the McGraw Hill AR tool which enhanced my understanding through a hands-on approach, allowing me to grasp complex biological processes more effectively (McGraw Hill AR Online – Activity – Respiratory System, n.d.).Overall, this experience helped me appreciate the power of AI and VR in supporting diverse learning environments, making both teaching and assessment more dynamic and adaptable.
Thank you for a great week Team Yellow!
