What does it look like to struggle to learn? I asked MidJouney AI that very question and loved the images it returned.

Hi Chris, this is great, I hope you keep making these!! What I found particularly interesting about this is that all the images generated have sad faces and are slumped over a book. So there’s some continuity but not a lot of variety. Learning happens in so many different ways, but it isn’t limited to people. Where’s the dog with the confused face when their owner tries to shake a paw for the first time?

Interesting images, Chris.
I would love to hear more about what the idea of “struggling to learn” means to you and how you see it reflected in these images.
My own experience with learning has certainly seemed a struggle at times – especially dealing with large volumes of mew material in a short period of time. I seem to need plenty of time to process and assimilate when reading. One of my strategies over the past few years has been to use assistive technologies like Voice Dream (iOS) to present text unformatted and with generated text-to-speech. Being able to set the pace and presentation has helped me to more efficiently process longer texts.
Has anyone else found technologies that assist in your personal learning journey?
