I am the Partnerships and Para Sport Development Coordinator for The Steadward Centre, which is a part of the University of Alberta. My role includes oversight of our para swimming and para athletics programs, as well as program creation and delivery of athlete skill development and inclusive coach education initiatives. My background is largely in sport, as an athlete, coach, and administrator. My personal experience as an athlete influenced my pathway to coaching, and to continue working in sport once I was no longer competing. I have a degree in Kinesiology, majoring in Adapted Physical Activity, from the University of Alberta.
I am a born and raised Edmontonian. I was raised very closely with my siblings and cousins, and appreciate being able to live in the same city as them still. To relax, I enjoy crocheting, puzzling, reading, and hanging out with my cat, Fig. In recent years, I have taken up playing Dungeon’s and Dragon’s with some friends, which has been a fun way to collaborate and work as a team.
