Creating the digital map was a thought-provoking experience for me. I was surprised at how many different sites I visit on a day-to-day basis personally and in my professional life.
I created all the symbols using an Insert Shapes command in Word. In order to apply artistic effects to the symbols and be able to customize them more, I used snipping tools to save them as pictures. I applied artistic effects, frames, and many more options that were available in the Pictures toolbar for all the symbols individually. It was a long process, but I really enjoyed it.

Hi May,
Great map! I see that, like myself, Google has taken root in the visitor spectrum. I too use Adobe Connect with my job, I find it to be a great tool to use for collaboration. The instructors I work with, love to use the “break-out room” feature for group work and roleplaying.

Hi May,
If I’m reading your chart as intended, your blog seems to be almost in the middle between Personal and Institutional. What kind of blog is it?

Hi Sean, I have my MALAT blog but I also am working on my personal blog which will be the space for me to express my interests such as cooking and decorating.
