The readings to be utilized in this assignment are fascinating when reading about science fiction. Content delivery to students from instructors is a time-honoured tradition. Will we in the future be subjugated to become digital nomads (Macgilchrist et al., 2020 p 86), where we improve on the process of knowledge transfer? The future while still just a thought, is approaching quickly.  Pushing ahead in time, will we no longer be using cameras for surveillance of the student and course mediator alike (Selwyn et al., 2019)? My emphasis on the upcoming assignment will be guided towards the positives within education, and the future platforms that may be developed in higher education settings. The journey into the speculative future will be an interesting venture, projecting as to the nature of the technology and media that will be incorporated through to the student. The journey to 2030 approaches quickly. Student interactions within higher education in the future will undoubtably point to a different conclusion that what I will offer. Thus, science fiction does not always turn into science fact.
