The digital mapping of my connections was an interesting and challenging activity! Interesting, to visualize how connected I am to different sources (nodes) through personal and professional interests. This activity was challenging because I chose to use Kumu for the first time, to help me to create an interesting visual mapping of my digital presence and connectedness; there is always a worthy learning curve with interesting new apps!

I am most connected with others through professional, and artistic and social innovation endeavours. My personal connections are small in this mapping, in the sense that my personal connections are my friends and family and I “connect” with them through email, but most enjoy seeing them in person or speaking on the phone with them.

My visual of my digital presence and connectedness shows that I am as busy as I often feel — going and being pulled in many different directions, but largely of my choosing, I am happy to say!
