Good morning everyone, Nicole here. I’m not sure where all my teen pictures are but found the earliest tech-related picture I could find. I looked up the tape recorder and they now call it vintage lol. I later was upgraded to a recorder with a microphone (watch out) and before I knew it, I was rocking a walkman and rushing home after school to use our first IBM computer, (did anyone else make banners that you could print off off continuous paper roll with the perforated ends?) I seem to have a knack for following instructions and was often our family troubleshooter (VCR’s primarily). Today I work in social tech, which means at HelpSeeker, we empower communities to make data-informed decisions using digital solutions about program funding, service delivery and wicked problems that affect communities. One main goal of this course for me is to understand how to better create and present online learning modules or training to diverse audiences. In addition, I am very interested in safe internet practices and protecting Personal Identifying Information (PII), especially when working with vulnerable populations or individuals. Happy Learning!
