I hadn’t really thought about how I would utilize my research until this point in the program. I think at this early stage in the process, I could probably write in a work publication, we have many to chose from at my organization, but I think it will depend heavily on what my topic and research questions will be. I’m taking some time and giving thought to how I may approach the leaders at my organization so that I may carry out my AI research and how we may incorporate that into our LMS to personalize the learning and capture more data to guide the type of learning we want to promote or create. I am also thinking that I could potentially do a personal development workshop as a second choice to disseminate my research. I would have to ensure that my research and the way it is presented follows our guidelines, standards, and code of conduct (for my research as well as how I present it in the workshop or work publication as it will potentially be read by over 90,000 people but again, this all depends if I will be able to carry out my research at work. I will also have to consider the critics of AI and provide information on both sides so that I may provide well rounded research. I also must ensure my writing is professional as it will be read by those in higher positions and shared among peers. I had not thought about this exercise previously and it has me thinking even more about my research topic, which I assume is the idea! I’m open to suggestions on how others are handling this project in their organizations as it would help me immensely!
