From reviewing the readings and some of the videos/links posted on LRNT522, what I believe makes a good research question is:
- Specificity – the question cannot be vague or open for interpretation.
- Clear and concise – this avoids ambiguity and allows gathering data to be more fluid.
- It has a studiable answer – it should be worthy of investigating
I would like to say that the question should be as interesting/captivating as possible, however, this is subjective to the topic at hand.

I like your point about a question needing to be as interesting/captivating as possible. It would challenging to do the research if the question was not interesting. That is why it is important to take the time to write a good, strong question before diving into the research.
