Our group, Team B, comprised of myself, Bart Cummins, Jessica Sirois, and Tim Wong, designed the following toolkit to help a large medical clinic assess their readiness to implement a learning management system (LMS). Although we designed the toolkit with this specific purpose, it can be used by any organization in any industry to assess readiness for change.
Our toolkit outlines the six-step model we developed to assess readiness for change on Kotter’s (1996) Leading Change method. This toolkit includes many activities and resources for each of the following six-steps:
- Analyze and Evaluate
- Form a Guiding Coalition
- Form a Strategic Vision
- Enlist a Volunteer Army
- Enable Action by Removing Barriers
- Create a Sense of Urgency
