I have created my network visualization using the socilab application through LinkedIn. Not surprisingly to me, my contacts are mostly work/career related(which is how I typically use LinkedIn). The surprising part was in the information that the exercise provided. I found it interesting that I would be considered in an open/dispersed network. But I did organize the diagram based on industry groups and I can tell from this that most of my contacts are in the learning and development sector (Pink), along with Banking as a close second (Red and Orange). It was very interesting to see the interconnection between my contacts. I am the blue dot in the middle. I can see a lot of connections between past co-workers and some of the individuals I worked with and how they are connected to others in the Banking industry but also can see there are a few who are not connected to anyone but me, this I noticed were some family connections and some co-workers from the past.

Looking at Steve’s post, I would like to see where the #RRUMALAT twitter feed leads.
